General Project Overview
Our Focus is on helping the Secondary Victims the non-offending Parent, and family members. There are many resources out there to help you help your Child heal. But little dealing with how to help yourself so you can help your child. We Hope to help give secondary survivors some tools to heal their own pains through the lessons some of us have already had learn the hard way walk through this family nightmare very blind.
The stories and lessons we all need to learn come from real women, real men, real children, real experiences, real struggles, real triumphs', and yes even Real failures of the System. These are real family stories with REAL TEARS. We hope to show all sides of this problem, as much as we possibly can. For many of us this is our greatest challenge.
We can stop this cycle only in our Words, by telling our stories, sharing our victories, and sharing the challenges that are faced as you walk this path. We must not let the Perpetrators dominate our lives and hearts in their Sickness and lies. We are reaching out to others that share our pains. We are wishing to help them through their journey. We can stop this cycle of insanity by teaching our next generation to they have value and can say NO.
Each Group has a unique path of healing and a unique story to tell.
There are special issues exclusive to each group of mothers and Fathers. And each mother has her own unique aspects of her story that make her journey her own path. By talking about these very real challenges we together can find the inner peace, and self esteem we need to be the Good mothers we want to be.
You may identify with the information if you are a survivor, of any kind of sexual abuse. No matter whom the perpetrator is the world and the world of your child was made unsafe and you must heal too.
The Stages of healing -The order may vary as you are handling theses issues and stages, due to other complexities in your life. You may have an easier journey or a more difficult one. But we hope to help you all walk in your journey with your heads held high in the face of adversity.
A Research and Development Team will be gathering information from Adult Surviviors', Parents of Adult Survivors, Parents of young survivors. In our initial research focus we will be gathering general stories and then doing in-depth interviews via email and standard mail and follow up interviews.
Privacy Issues - A disclosure release Consent agreement will have to be on file with our office. All names will be changed to protect the innocent - For our stories are not ours alone but also our children's and grandchildren. All those around us are affected and therefore need to be protected before any public exposure is presented
Ongoing Children's Projects:
Giving Children the understanding that they are normal - What happened was not. It is NOT THEIR FAULT. Several Children's books are being Developed Based on the voices we hear, from Parents, Siblings, and Survivors
Books to help a child cope with the daily challenges of thier plight.
Books that that offer hope and healthy ways to heal.
Books to help Parents, Therapist's, Child Service Workers etc. Help thier Children.
